Cosmetic Surface Correction
SikaRep® Cosmetic is a single-component, fine-grained cementitious mortar enhanced with synthetic resins. It is formulated to perform cosmetic repairs and level surfaces made of concrete, mortar, or stone prior to applying a final finish.
Main Applications
It can be used to correct pores, minor irregularities, fine gravel pockets, surface cracks, chipped edges, and defects caused during formwork removal. It can also be used to level precast elements, prepare substrates before installing ceramic tiles, seal small, non-moving joints, and fill holes left by anchors or tie rods.
Application and Finish
It is applied in thin layers between 0.5 and 2 mm and forms a smooth surface that can be painted afterward. It offers good adhesion, water resistance, and weather resistance, and hardens without cracking when applied correctly. It is available in light gray and comes in 23-kg bags.
