SikaMur®

SikaMur® is a single-component mortar ready to be mixed with water, formulated with cement, selected aggregates, and air-entraining agents. It is designed for rendering walls affected by rising damp and the presence of salts.

Its highly porous structure promotes the evaporation of water trapped within the wall and allows moisture to escape as vapor. At the same time, it helps retain salts within the plaster layer, reducing the appearance of efflorescence, stains, and mold on the finished surface.

It can be used on brick, masonry, and solid mineral substrates, once deteriorated coatings and poorly adhered sections have been removed. It offers good workability and adhesion and does not require complex preliminary treatments. It is supplied in 25-kg bags and, once set, can be finished with breathable lime- or silicate-based paints.
