Treatment of Capillary Moisture
SikaMur® InjectoCream-100 is a silane-based water-repellent cream designed to form a horizontal barrier against rising damp. It is injected into holes drilled in mortar joints and gradually spreads through the wall, reducing capillary water rise.
Walls and Applications
It can be used on solid brick walls, cavity walls, and stone masonry, both indoors and outdoors. It is supplied ready-to-use and is applied with a conventional spray gun, without the need for special pumps or pressure injection systems.
Application and Benefits
Holes are drilled along a horizontal line, cleaned, and filled with the cream. Its concentrated formulation facilitates controlled dosing and produces little waste. Once the barrier is formed, the wall can dry out gradually; however, plaster that is damaged or contaminated by salts must be removed and replaced with a compatible restoration mortar.
