Sikagard®-917 W

Sikagard®-917 W is a water-based, siloxane-based impregnating agent designed to reduce water and oil absorption in porous mineral surfaces. It penetrates the substrate without forming a continuous surface film, preserving its natural texture and appearance.

It is suitable for porous tiles, concrete, mortar, masonry, brick, and stone with low to medium porosity. It is particularly useful on flooring, terraces, patios, walkways, and other surfaces where the goal is to facilitate cleaning and limit liquid penetration.

It is supplied ready to use and should be applied to a clean, dry, and absorbent surface, distributing the product evenly. Its high penetration capacity reduces capillary absorption, protects against rainwater, and improves resistance to oil stains. Since it does not form a film, it does not significantly alter the material’s breathability.
