Sikagard®-703 W

Sikagard®-703 W is a single-component, ready-to-use water-repellent impregnation formulated as an aqueous emulsion containing a combination of silanes and siloxanes. It penetrates absorbent mineral substrates and reduces rainwater penetration without forming a visible surface film.

It is suitable for facades made of brick, mortar, masonry, stone, and other porous materials. It maintains water vapor permeability, thereby promoting the breathability of the building envelope. Reduced water absorption helps limit the appearance of stains, dirt, moss, and lichens associated with moisture.

Apply using a low-pressure sprayer, brush, or roller in several wet-on-wet coats until the substrate is saturated. The surface must be clean, dry, and absorbent, and cracks wider than 0.3 mm must be repaired beforehand. No special curing is required, but the surface must be protected from rain for at least three hours at 20 °C.
