General Description
Preparation of Cementitious Substrates
Sikafloor®-154 W is a two-component, water-based epoxy resin primer developed to prepare concrete floors and other cementitious substrates prior to the application of subsequent coatings.
Use within the System
It is particularly suitable as a primer for Sikafloor®-2100 and is part of systems designed for sports floors, bike paths, garages, and areas subject to light traffic. It can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Adhesion and Application
It offers excellent adhesion, low odor, and short curing times. It can be diluted with water to accommodate substrates with varying absorption rates and to improve the long-term bond of the coating. It is applied to a firm, clean surface free of rising damp. Its approximate coverage is 0.8 to 1 kg/m² per coat, and it is supplied in pre-measured 25-kg batches.
