Durable Sealing for Facades
Sikaflex® Construction Purform® is a one-component, elastic, low-modulus polyurethane sealant developed for movement joints and connections in facades. Its low edge stress helps protect substrates during expansion, contraction, or vibration.
Main Applications
It is suitable for joints in concrete, masonry, precast elements, and around doors and windows. It can be used indoors and outdoors on most common building materials, provided the joint is properly sized and prepared.
Movement and Strength
It offers a movement capacity of ±25% according to ISO 9047 and up to ±50% according to ASTM C719. It exhibits good mechanical strength, weather resistance, and hydrolysis resistance. Its sag-resistant properties, ease of extrusion, and consistency suitable for smoothing facilitate the creation of clean, uniform vertical joints.
