Sikaflex®-554

Sikaflex®-554 is a one-component, elastic adhesive featuring silane-terminated polymer technology, designed for the industrial assembly of parts subjected to dynamic stresses. It can replace or supplement mechanical fasteners in numerous manufacturing processes.

It is suitable for panels, floors, body components, auxiliary parts, vehicles, buses, RVs, and other industrial assemblies. It offers good adhesion to aluminum, steel, primed metals, painted surfaces, ceramic materials, and certain plastics, typically with minimal pretreatment.

It combines high elasticity, weather resistance, and the ability to absorb vibrations and accommodate differences in thermal expansion between materials. It contains no solvents, isocyanates, phthalates, or PVC. It forms a skin in approximately 25 minutes and has an open time of about 20 minutes. Curing can be accelerated using the Sika Booster or PowerCure systems.
