General Description
Instant Bonding of Heavy Components
Sikaflex®-118 Extreme Grab is a one-component construction adhesive formulated with silane-terminated polymers. Its very high initial tack allows for the installation of numerous components without nails, screws, or temporary fasteners while the product cures.
Applications and Materials
It is suitable for bonding concrete, masonry, stone, ceramic, wood, metal, glass, and mirror components. It can be used to install panels, profiles, cladding, decorative elements, brackets, baseboards, and other components subjected to their own weight, both indoors and outdoors.
Strength and Workability
It combines a strong, elastic bond with a consistency that prevents the pieces from slipping. It forms a skin in approximately 15 minutes and cures at a rate of about 3 mm per 24 hours, depending on environmental conditions. It withstands operating temperatures between −40 °C and +80 °C and is sold in 290-ml cartridges.
