SikaBond®-151

SikaBond®-151 is a single-component adhesive for bonding wood flooring over its entire surface. Its consistency makes it easy to spread with a trowel and keeps the beads stable during installation.

It is compatible with multilayer parquet, mosaic, laminate, and certain solid wood planks. It can be applied to concrete, cementitious or anhydrite screeds, wood panels, and ceramic tiles, provided the substrate is clean, dry, level, and properly prepared.

The adhesive’s elasticity helps absorb stresses between the wood and the substrate. It is highly compatible with varnishes and has very low emissions. You have approximately 40 minutes to lay the pieces under normal conditions. The floor can be walked on after approximately eight hours, sanded after about twelve hours, and reaches full cure between 48 and 72 hours, depending on the environment, the applied thickness, and the type of wood.
