Sika® WT-120 L

Sika® WT-120 L is a liquid, mass-water-repellent admixture formulated with water-repellent organic substances. It is added during mixing to significantly reduce water absorption and penetration under pressure, improving the waterproofing properties of concrete or mortar throughout its entire thickness.

It is suitable for foundations, parking garages, basements, underground stations, tunnels, galleries, dams, reservoirs, tanks, and other structures subject to contact with water. It can be combined with other Sika® admixtures, adding them individually and homogenizing the mixture between each addition.

The recommended dosage ranges from 0.5% to 2% of the cement weight. It must be added to the mixing water or directly into the mixer along with the water; never add it to the dry mix. To optimize performance, Sika recommends concrete with a soft or fluid consistency, a maximum water-to-cement ratio of 0.45, and at least 350 kg of cement per cubic meter.
