Sika® ThermoCoat-21

Sika® ThermoCoat-21 is a white mortar made from cement, lightweight aggregates, and mineral fillers, developed to improve the thermal insulation of building envelopes by creating a continuous layer.

It can be applied to facades, interior or exterior walls, areas under the roof, slab edges, and other junctions where thermal bridges need to be reduced. By conforming directly to the geometry of the substrate, it facilitates the formation of uniform insulation even on irregular surfaces or in areas that are difficult to address with panels.

Its lightweight formulation allows it to be applied manually or using spray equipment. Once cured, it provides an insulating layer that is breathable and impervious to rainwater. It is classified as a T1-CS I-W1 thermal insulation mortar in accordance with regulations for plasters and renderings. It is supplied in 8-kg bags and must be protected and finished according to the cladding system specified for each facade.
