Description
General Description
Specially Designed for Precast Concrete
Sika® Separol®-606 W is a ready-to-use release agent formulated as a white aqueous emulsion. It can be used on-site, although it is especially recommended for precast plants and architectural concrete applications where a smooth surface finish is required.
Types of Concrete and Formwork
It is compatible with vibrated concrete and self-compacting concrete. It can be applied to all types of formwork and helps prevent the adhesion of concrete and surface slurry, while also extending the service life of the molds.
Application and Coverage
It is used undiluted and must be thoroughly mixed before application. It can be applied using a sprayer, pneumatic system, brush, or roller, forming a thin, uniform film. Its approximate coverage is one liter per 100 m². It allows for the subsequent application of paints or coatings, although Sika recommends thoroughly washing the concrete after formwork removal when these finishes are to be applied.
