Sika® Primer-206 G+P

Sika® Primer-206 G+P is a black, single-component, solvent-based primer designed to treat surfaces prior to the application of Sika single-component polyurethane adhesives and sealants.

It is suitable for float glass, coated glass, or glass with ceramic screen printing, painted surfaces, industrial primers, certain plastics, and metals. It is used especially in glazing, vehicle construction, marine applications, and other bonding applications where a pigmented bonding layer is required.

Before use, shake vigorously until the mixing balls move freely, then continue shaking for another minute. Apply a single thin but opaque coat using a brush, felt applicator, or foam applicator. The surface must be clean, dry, and degreased. On transparent substrates, the adhesive and primer must be adequately protected from ultraviolet radiation.
