Sika® Oleoplast®

Sika Oleoplast® is a liquid additive formulated to accelerate the setting and strength development of mortars and concretes. It is particularly suitable when it is necessary to reduce waiting times, work under difficult conditions, or put structures into service more quickly.

It can be used in submerged work or work performed in the presence of water, marine construction, precast elements, tunnels, galleries, and other projects where rapid hardening is necessary. Its formulation is chloride-free, making it suitable for mortars, mass concrete, and reinforced concrete.

It can be used undiluted or diluted in the mixing water, adjusting the proportion based on preliminary tests according to the required setting speed. When added to concrete, the concrete must be placed quickly, as it significantly reduces the working time available for the mix. Coatings applied with Oleoplast® do not need to be subsequently covered with another mortar.
