Sika MonoTop®-910 S

Sika MonoTop®-910 S is a single-component, polymer-modified cementitious mortar containing silica fume. It is designed to protect exposed steel bars from corrosion prior to the repair of deteriorated concrete.

It can also be used as a bonding layer between the existing substrate and certain cementitious repair mortars. It is suitable for columns, beams, balconies, facades, and other elements where it is necessary to repair the concrete and pre-treat the rebar.

It only needs to be mixed with water until a uniform consistency is achieved. On clean steel, it is typically applied in two coats with a brush, completely covering the surface and achieving a thickness of approximately 2 mm. When used as a bonding bridge, it is applied to pre-moistened concrete, and the repair mortar is applied while the layer is still fresh. It is part of the Sika MonoTop® systems for the repair and protection of reinforced concrete.
