Sika MonoTop®-160 Migrating

Sika MonoTop®-160 Migrating is a single-component cementitious mortar formulated with selected aggregates and active chemical agents. These components penetrate the network of pores and capillaries in the concrete and react with moisture and free lime, forming insoluble crystals that impede the passage of water.

It is suitable for waterproofing basements, retaining walls, elevator pits, and other concrete structures. It can be used against both positive and negative pressure, making it useful when water acts from the outside or from the side opposite the lining.

It only needs to be mixed with water until a slurry consistency is achieved. It is applied with a brush or by low-pressure spraying onto the previously dampened substrate, typically in two coats. It offers excellent adhesion to concrete, maintains vapor permeability, and forms a protective layer integrated into the substrate’s capillary network.
