Sika MaxTack®

Sika MaxTack® is a single-component, water-based adhesive designed to bond decorative pieces and lightweight elements in protected indoor and outdoor areas. Its strong initial tack facilitates nail-free installation and reduces the need to hold pieces in place for extended periods.

It is suitable for bonding baseboards, panels, frames, moldings, wood strips, terracotta tiles, rigid PVC profiles, anodized aluminum, and polystyrene parts. It provides good adhesion to porous materials such as concrete, mortar, fiber cement, and wood, provided that at least one of the surfaces is absorbent.

It is applied with a caulking gun in beads onto clean, dry, and sturdy substrates. It offers good workability, is odorless, and can be painted with water-based paints. Pieces can be repositioned during the first five minutes, and tools can be cleaned with water before the product hardens. It should not be used as a sealant or on mirrors, flooring, or surfaces subject to permanent immersion.
