Sika® Desencofrante EN

Sika® Form Release EN is a mineral oil that, once emulsified with water, prevents concrete or mortar from adhering to the formwork. It can be used on various types of forms, although it is particularly suitable for absorbent wooden forms.

It forms a film that promotes quick and clean separation, helps prevent stains on the concrete, and reduces the time spent cleaning the forms. It also reduces wear on the wood and allows the formwork to be reused for longer.

It should be added slowly to water while stirring and mixed thoroughly again before application. It is applied with a brush to clean, dry surfaces. It can be diluted up to a maximum of 1:10 for metal formwork and 1:20 for absorbent surfaces. Its approximate coverage is 40 to 80 m² per liter, depending on the porosity of the surface and the amount of water used.
