Sika® Desencofrante D

Sika® Form Release Agent D is a liquid agent that prevents concrete and mortar from adhering to formwork. It can be used on various types of formwork, although it is particularly suitable for absorbent surfaces such as wood.

Its application facilitates quick and clean form removal, reduces the effort required to clean the forms, and minimizes wear on the wood. In this way, it helps extend the service life of the formwork and prevents the concrete from becoming stained during removal.

It is emulsified in water and applied with a brush to clean, dry formwork. The maximum dilution ratio is 1:5 for metal forms and 1:10 for absorbent surfaces. Its approximate coverage is 20 to 40 m² per liter of product, depending on the porosity of the formwork and the dilution ratio used. It is available in 25-liter jugs and 200-liter drums.
