Sika Boom®-562 Foam Fix Plus

Sika Boom®-562 Foam Fix Plus is a one-component, self-expanding, gun-applied polyurethane adhesive foam. It is designed for the fast, efficient, and permanent bonding of insulation panels and other non-structural components.

It can be used indoors and outdoors to bond drywall, expanded or extruded polystyrene panels, wood fiber, and cork. It provides good adhesion to many common substrates, such as concrete, brick, wood, metal, and aluminum, without the need for a primer under normal conditions.

The foam is ready to use, provides good thermal insulation, and resists moisture and rot once cured, making it suitable for underground applications as well. The 750-ml aerosol can provides approximately 40 meters of 30-mm bead. It is touch-dry in about 8 minutes and can be cut after approximately 40 minutes.
