Sika Boom®-180

Sika Boom®-180 is a one-component, self-expanding polyurethane foam that is ready to use with the included nozzle. It is designed to easily perform common filling and insulation tasks without the need for an application gun.

It can be used to fill cavities, joints around door and window frames, pipe penetrations, and duct penetrations. It also helps reduce noise transmission, heat loss, and drafts in both interior and exterior applications.

It adheres well to concrete, brick, wood, metal, and aluminum. The surface must be firm, clean, and slightly damp to promote curing. The 750-ml can provides a coverage of approximately 24 liters and is touch-dry in about 9 minutes. Once cured, the foam can be cut, sanded, and painted, although it should be protected from prolonged exposure to UV rays.
