Quick Roof Tile Installation
Sika Boom®-154 Roof Tile is a one-component polyurethane adhesive foam specifically developed for bonding and securing roof tiles through manual application. It offers a quick alternative to traditional mortars and reduces the added weight on the roof.
Roofing Applications
It is suitable for securing roof tiles and panels, as well as for filling small gaps and defects during roofing work. Its expansion capacity allows it to adapt to uneven substrates, while its strong initial tack facilitates quick and stable installation.
Performance and Characteristics
It exhibits good adhesion to many common building materials and forms a durable, rot-resistant bond. It is applied to roof tiles and substrates that are firm, clean, and free of dust or grease. It is sold in 750-ml containers, with a coverage of approximately 38 liters, and reaches full cure in about 24 hours. Fresh foam can be cleaned with Sika Boom® Cleaner; once hardened, it can only be removed mechanically.
