Sika Boom®-150 Fix & Fill

Sika Boom®-150 Fix & Fill is a single-component, self-expanding, ready-to-use polyurethane foam. It is applied manually using a nozzle and is suitable for insulating and filling cavities, joints, and gaps commonly found in construction and renovation projects.

It can be used around door and window frames, pipes, pipe penetrations, and other structural joints. It helps reduce noise transmission, cold transfer, and drafts, and adheres well to materials such as concrete, brick, wood, metal, and aluminum.

The substrate must be sound, clean, and free of dust, grease, or loose particles. Once cured, the foam can be cut, sanded, and painted, although it must be protected from prolonged exposure to UV rays. The 750-ml aerosol can provides a coverage of approximately 30 liters and is touch-dry in about 9 minutes, depending on environmental conditions.
