Sika® Antisol®-3 E

Sika® Antisol®-3 E is a ready-to-use liquid curing agent formulated as a paraffin-based aqueous dispersion. When sprayed onto fresh concrete, it forms a thin film that limits surface water evaporation without interfering with the setting process.

It is suitable for large exposed surfaces, such as roads, runways, industrial floors, roof slabs, hangars, loading areas, retaining walls, canals, and civil engineering structures. Its use promotes more uniform hydration of the cement and helps reduce shrinkage, cracking, and the formation of surface dust.

It is applied in a thin, continuous layer using a low-pressure sprayer once the surface water has evaporated from the concrete. The approximate coverage rate is 0.15 to 0.20 kg/m². It must be protected from rain for the first 2–3 hours and removed before applying subsequent coatings or finish layers.
