General Description
High-Performance Professional Anchors
Sika AnchorFix®-3001 is a two-component, thixotropic, solvent-free adhesive formulated with epoxy resins. It is designed for anchoring corrugated steel bars, threaded rods, bolts, and other elements subjected to high loads.
Main Uses
It is used in both cracked and uncracked concrete for structural work, additions, renovations, reinforcing bar connections, and the installation of handrails, balustrades, supports, rails, and metal structures. It can also be applied to certain stone and rock substrates, provided the necessary tests are conducted beforehand.
Application and Advantages
It offers high adhesion, cures without shrinkage, and can be used on dry or damp concrete. Its consistency prevents sagging during vertical or overhead applications. Since it is an epoxy resin, it has a longer working time than fast-curing anchors, which facilitates deep or larger-diameter fastenings. The drill hole must be thoroughly cleaned before injecting the resin and inserting the anchor element.
