LANKO® Porcelanico Extra

LANKO Porcelánico Extra by Sika is a polymer-modified cementitious adhesive specially developed for installing porcelain tiles and other low-absorption ceramic tiles. It is suitable for interior and exterior flooring and wall tiling and can be applied to mortar, concrete, brick, gypsum board, and properly prepared existing ceramic tile surfaces.

It offers high initial adhesion and maintains its performance after immersion in water, thermal aging, and freeze-thaw cycles. Its slip resistance facilitates installation on vertical surfaces and allows for application thicknesses between 3 and 15 mm. It is mixed with water only and spread using a notched trowel, with a double-layer application used when the tile size or installation conditions require it. Its approximate coverage is 3 kg/m² for single-layer application and 5 kg/m² for double-layer application, depending on the substrate and the tile.
