LANKO® Especial Plus

Sika LANKO Especial Plus is a polymer-modified cementitious adhesive designed for installing small-format ceramic tiles with medium or high water absorption. It can be used for interior and exterior flooring, as well as for interior wall cladding on substrates such as mortar, concrete, brick, and non-water-repellent gypsum board.

Its C1TE classification indicates normal setting, reduced slump, and extended open time, facilitating the installation and adjustment of tiles. It is applied with a notched trowel in thicknesses ranging from 3 to 10 mm and offers a workable paste that is easy to spread. For larger tiles, the double-glue technique should be used. The substrate must be firm, clean, even, and free of dust, grease, paint, or poorly adhered materials. It is available in white and gray, in 25-kg bags.
