Coteterm Decor Base

Coteterm Decor Base is a plastering mortar specially formulated to prepare and level painted surfaces before applying a new decorative finish. It can be used in both renovation and new construction projects and creates a uniform base with a texture suitable for applying coatings from the Cotegran line.

It is suitable for mortar render, concrete, cellular or precast concrete, artificial stone, and old single-layer coatings. It can also be applied over smooth or textured acrylic paints, provided that poorly adhered areas are removed beforehand.

It is applied in a thin layer and offers good adhesion, excellent workability, and high coverage. The resulting coating is impervious to rainwater yet vapor-permeable, promoting both the protection and breathability of the facade. It should not be used on plaster, water-repellent surfaces, or horizontal or sloped surfaces directly exposed to rain. It is also not suitable as a base coat for ETICS systems. It is available in 25-kg bags and is white in color.
