Cotegran Cal Color

Sika’s Cotegran Cal Color is a continuous, thick-layer coating made from natural air lime and pigments. It serves as both a base coat and a finish coat and is suitable for interior and exterior use in new construction, renovation, and restoration projects.

It can be used on walls and ceilings made of brick, ceramic blocks, concrete blocks, masonry, and mortar-based plaster. Its compatibility with historic substrates makes it particularly well-suited for restoring traditional buildings, repointing stone, and treating baseboards affected by rising damp.

It allows for textured, troweled, honed, scraped, or smooth finishes. It offers good workability and adhesion, is permeable to water vapor, and can be applied manually or by mechanical spraying. It should not be used on painted, plastered, or water-repellent surfaces, nor on surfaces directly exposed to rainwater.
