Cotegran 2000 M

Sika’s Cotegran 2000 M is a mortar designed to coat, decorate, and protect facades from rainwater. It is applied as a continuous layer over standard building substrates, such as ceramic masonry, rough plaster, concrete blocks, and concrete with adequate porosity and roughness.

It can be applied manually with a metal trowel or sprayed mechanically. It is generally applied in thicknesses ranging from 10 to 20 mm and allows for scraped, Tyrolean-style rustic, or planed rustic finishes. Its vapor permeability allows the facade to breathe, while its mechanical strength and low capillary absorption help protect the building envelope.

Mix with approximately 4.75–5 liters of water per bag. The approximate coverage is 15 kg/m² per centimeter of thickness, and the pot life of the mixture is about one hour, depending on environmental conditions.
