General Description
Mapei Ultraplan is an ultra-fast-setting, self-leveling cementitious mortar designed to smooth and correct irregularities ranging from 1 to 10 mm in interior flooring.
Main Applications
Prepares substrates prior to installing ceramic tile, natural stone, resilient flooring, textiles, or wood. It can be applied over cementitious screeds, concrete, and other compatible substrates that are properly consolidated and primed. For thicknesses up to 20 mm, it can be mixed with suitable quartz aggregate.
Application and Coverage
Its high flowability allows it to be spread manually with a trowel or screed, or applied using a pump. The mixture remains workable for 20 to 30 minutes and can withstand foot traffic after approximately three hours. The finish coat can generally be applied after 12 hours. Its approximate coverage is 1.6 kg/m² per millimeter, and it is supplied in 23-kg bags. It has an EMICODE EC1 Plus classification.
