General Description
Mapei Ultraplan Maxi is an ultra-fast-setting self-leveling mortar designed to level interior floors to thicknesses ranging from 3 to 40 mm per layer.
Main Applications
It is suitable for correcting significant irregularities before installing ceramic tile, natural stone, wood, or resilient flooring. It can be used on properly prepared cementitious substrates and is suitable for covering underfloor heating systems.
Application and Coverage
Its high flowability allows it to be applied with a trowel or pump, even on large surfaces. The mixture remains workable for 30 to 40 minutes, and the floor can be walked on after approximately three hours. The curing time before installing the finish depends on the thickness: between 12 and 24 hours for ceramic tile and stone, and between 24 and 72 hours for wood or resilient flooring. It covers approximately 1.7 kg/m² per millimeter and is supplied in 25-kg bags.
