ULTRACARE RAIN PROTECTOR W

Mapei’s UltraCare Rain Protector W is a water-based protective treatment formulated with silanes and siloxanes to reduce the penetration of rainwater into outdoor flooring.

It is suitable for patios, balconies, and other horizontal surfaces made of porcelain tile, natural stone, clinker, terracotta, and cementitious materials. Its water-repellent action also penetrates joints and cracks up to 1 mm wide, helping to temporarily limit surface seepage.

It is ready to use and is applied to dry surfaces using a roller, brush, or mop, carefully saturating joints and cracks. Excess product should be removed after 10–15 minutes. On absorbent materials, a second coat may be applied after 8–12 hours. The surface is ready for foot traffic after approximately eight hours, and the treatment reaches full effectiveness between 12 and 24 hours. It does not form a film or reduce the substrate’s natural breathability. Its coverage is 10 to 30 m² per liter.
