General Description
Mapei’s UltraCare Acid Cleaner is a concentrated, acid-based liquid cleaner formulated to remove particularly stubborn cementitious residues and restore surfaces after tile installation and grouting.
Main Applications
It is suitable for ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, glass mosaic, and acid-resistant natural stone. It removes haze and hardened residues of cementitious mortars, lime deposits, salt efflorescence, and other mineral deposits found on interior or exterior floor and wall surfaces.
Application and Precautions
It can be used at different dilutions depending on the severity of the soiling and the surface’s resistance. It should be applied evenly, allowed to act without letting it dry, scrubbed, and rinsed with plenty of clean water. Before applying it to the entire surface, it is recommended to test it on an inconspicuous area. Do not use on marble, limestone, or materials sensitive to acidic products.
