ULTRABOND P990 1K

Mapei’s Ultrabond P990 1K is a single-component, elastic, solvent-free, ready-to-use polyurethane adhesive formulated for the adhesive installation of wood flooring.

It is suitable for prefinished multilayer parquet, traditional tongue-and-groove parquet, and other compatible wood flooring. It can be applied over cement-based screeds, subfloors made with Mapecem or Topcem, and properly prepared existing wood, ceramic, marble, or terrazzo floors. It is also suitable for substrates with radiant heating.

Its creamy consistency facilitates spreading with a notched trowel and ensures good wetting of the back of the planks. It has an open time of approximately 110 minutes, allows for foot traffic after about 12 hours, and can be polished after approximately three days. It is available in beige and brown and has very low emissions of volatile organic compounds.
