General Description
Mapei’s Ultrabond Eco V4 SP Fiber is a universal, water-based, fiber-reinforced adhesive with very low emissions of volatile organic compounds, designed for installing resilient flooring and textiles.
Main Applications
It is suitable for PVC, vinyl, rubber, polyolefin, linoleum, and carpet flooring on properly prepared, absorbent interior substrates. It can be used in homes, offices, retail spaces, public buildings, and other areas subject to heavy traffic or high loads.
Advantages of Fiber Reinforcement
The fibers distributed throughout the adhesive improve the dimensional stability of the flooring and help limit movement, deformation, and joint separation. It combines a firm initial bond with a sufficient open time to properly install and adjust the pieces. It comes ready to use and is applied with a notched trowel, selected according to the type of flooring. It is particularly suitable when greater dimensional control is needed than with a conventional universal adhesive.
