General Description
Mapei’s Ultrabond Eco Fix is a water-based, solvent-free acrylic adhesive with permanent bonding properties, developed to install self-adhesive tiles while allowing them to be removed and re-installed.
Main Applications
It is suitable for carpet tiles, vinyl flooring, and other removable floor coverings on screeds, self-leveling compounds, concrete, panels, raised floors, and existing surfaces made of wood, PVC, rubber, linoleum, ceramic, or marble. It can also be used on properly prepared radiant heating systems.
Application and Performance
It is applied with a trowel or roller and must be allowed to dry until it becomes transparent before laying the tiles. Once dry, it retains its tackiness even after the flooring has been repeatedly removed. The surface is ready for traffic and use immediately after installation. Coverage is 0.10 to 0.20 kg/m², and it is available in 10-kg pails.
