ULTRABOND ECO CONTACT

Mapei’s Ultrabond Eco Contact is a water-based, solvent-free, double-sided contact adhesive developed for installations that require immediate and strong bonding.

It is suitable for bonding PVC, rubber, linoleum, cork, and other resilient materials to floors, walls, ceilings, and curved surfaces. It is particularly useful for installing baseboards, skirting boards, profiles, steps, risers, quarter-round moldings, and coverings on vertical surfaces where the material tends to shift.

The adhesive is applied to both surfaces using a roller or suitable trowel. The water must then be allowed to evaporate until the layers are dry to the touch, at which point the surfaces are joined by applying uniform pressure. It provides immediate initial adhesion and prevents the installed elements from slipping. It has very low emissions of volatile organic compounds and is EMICODE EC1 Plus certified.
