General Description
Mapei’s Quarzolite Tonachino is a ready-to-use, fiber-reinforced acrylic paste coating designed for the protection and decoration of interior and exterior surfaces. When applied thickly, it can conceal minor irregularities and produce a textured, uniform, and durable finish.
Main Applications
It is suitable for cementitious plasters, concrete surfaces, and previously painted substrates that are sound and properly prepared. It can also be used as a finish coat in Mapetherm exterior thermal insulation systems.
Finishes and Application
It is available in particle sizes of 0.7, 1.2, 1.5, and 2 mm, with approximate coverage rates ranging from 1.7 to 3 kg/m² depending on the variant and the roughness of the substrate. It is applied with a stainless steel or plastic trowel at temperatures between +5 °C and +35 °C. It is available in white and in colors obtained through the ColorMap® system, in 20-kg containers.
