Ampliar Description
General Description
Mapei’s Purtop Easy DW is a two-component, elastic, white polyurethane liquid membrane formulated to waterproof tanks and structures used for storing drinking water.
Main Applications
It can be used on tanks, cisterns, canals, tunnels, and other hydraulic structures made of concrete, cementitious screeds, or metal that are not continuously exposed to ultraviolet radiation. It forms a continuous membrane, without joints or overlaps, capable of bridging cracks and conforming to horizontal, vertical, or sloped surfaces.
Application and Coverage
It is applied with a roller or trowel in at least two uniform coats. The recoating time between coats is approximately 5–6 hours at +23 °C. Approximate coverage is 2.5 kg/m² to achieve a final dry thickness of approximately 2 mm. It is supplied in 15-kg sets: 12.2 kg of Component A and 2.8 kg of Component B.
