General Description
Mapei Purtop 200 is a two-component, solvent-free waterproofing membrane formulated with pure polyurea, designed for manual application without the need for special high-pressure spraying equipment.
Main Applications
It is suitable for waterproofing terraces and roofs, as well as for repairing surfaces previously treated with pure or hybrid polyurea membranes. Once cured, it forms a continuous, elastic, durable layer that is fully bonded to a properly prepared substrate.
Performance and Advantages
It offers high tear resistance, the ability to bridge static and dynamic cracks even at low temperatures, and an elongation at break exceeding 500%. It is also resistant to alkalis and diluted acids. It can be applied without the need for reinforcing mesh and places minimal additional load on the structure. Its manual application facilitates the execution of details, localized repairs, and surfaces where the use of spray equipment is not feasible.
