PROSFAS

Mapei Prosfas is a silicate-based, solvent-free liquid consolidant in aqueous dispersion, developed to harden cementitious substrates with low mechanical strength or poor surface cohesion.

It is suitable for consolidating screeds and weak, porous, crumbling, or powdery cementitious surfaces prior to applying compatible leveling mortars, adhesives, or coatings. Its high penetration power allows it to act deeply, improving the substrate’s cohesion and reducing dust formation.

It is ready to use and is applied with a brush, roller, or squeegee, spreading it evenly to promote absorption. The substrate must be dry, clean, and free of oils, paints, or materials that hinder penetration. The approximate coverage for surface treatment is 0.5 to 0.7 kg/m², depending on porosity. It is transparent and comes in 25-kg containers.
