PRIMER 3296

Mapei Primer 3296 is a water-based acrylic primer with high penetration capacity, designed to consolidate weak, porous, crumbly, or dusty mineral substrates.

It is suitable for cement-based screeds, plaster, brick masonry, porous stone, and cement or lime mortars. It penetrates the pores of the substrate, improves its surface cohesion, and reduces dust formation prior to applying compatible skim coats, adhesives, waterproofing, or reinforcement systems. It can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Apply with a brush, roller, or squeegee, either undiluted or diluted with water in a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio, depending on the substrate’s absorbency and consistency. Approximate coverage is between 0.1 and 0.5 kg/m². Drying time can vary between one and five days, depending on the amount applied and environmental conditions.
