PLANISEAL 288

Mapei Planiseal 288 is a two-component cementitious mortar designed to waterproof and protect concrete and masonry structures, both from the inside and the outside.

It is suitable for underground structures, basements, elevator pits, storage tanks, reservoirs, canals, and swimming pools. It can be used against direct water pressure and for applications carried out from inside the structure.

The components are mixed in a 4:1 ratio until a fluid consistency is achieved, allowing application by brush, roller, trowel, or spray. It must be applied in at least two cross-coated layers, reaching a minimum total thickness of 2 mm. Its approximate coverage is 1.9 kg/m² per millimeter. It remains workable for about one hour at +20 °C and can be applied between +5 °C and +35 °C. It is available in white and gray, in pre-measured 25-kg kits.
