PLANIPATCH

Mapei Planipatch is a fine-textured, ultra-fast-drying, thixotropic cementitious plaster developed for smoothing and repairing interior surfaces to thicknesses ranging from 0 to 10 mm.

It is suitable for correcting minor irregularities, pores, joints, unevenness, and surface defects on walls and floors prior to installing resilient, textile, ceramic, or other compatible finishes. Its consistency allows it to be applied both horizontally and vertically, even in layers that are practically zero in thickness.

It is applied with a metal trowel or spatula onto solid, clean, and properly prepared substrates. It remains workable for approximately 10 minutes, can withstand foot traffic after about two hours, and allows for the installation of resilient flooring after about 12 hours. Its approximate coverage is 1.4 kg/m² per millimeter. When mixed with Latex Plus, it improves adhesion and flexibility on difficult or deformable substrates.
