PLANICRETE

Mapei’s Planicrete is a liquid additive based on synthetic rubber latex, developed to improve the performance of mortars, screeds, plasters, and cementitious mixtures.

It can be added to mixing water to increase adhesion to the substrate, mechanical strength, workability, and cohesion of the mortar. It is also used to prepare bonding slurries for bonded screeds, repairs to cementitious floors, filling voids, and reconstructing deteriorated areas.

For preparing adhesive mortars, the approximate usage is 100 to 150 g/m². For screeds and plasters, the typical dosage ranges from 50 to 80 kg per cubic meter of mixture. It is sold in 5-, 10-, and 25-kg containers, as well as 1-kg packages. It should not be used undiluted as a surface primer.
