NIVORAPID

Mapei’s Nivorapid is a thixotropic, ultra-fast-setting cementitious mortar designed for leveling, repairing, and smoothing interior walls and floors to thicknesses ranging from 1 to 20 mm.

It is suitable for preparing substrates prior to installing ceramic tiles, natural stone, hardwood flooring, resilient flooring, or textile wall coverings. Its consistency also allows it to be applied to vertical surfaces, steps, corners, and localized areas that cannot be leveled with a self-leveling product.

The mixture remains workable for approximately 15 minutes and can withstand foot traffic after about two hours. Ceramic tiles and stone can be installed after 4–6 hours, while hardwood flooring and resilient flooring require about 12 hours. It consumes approximately 1.6 kg/m² per millimeter and is supplied in 25-kg bags. When mixed with Latex Plus, its workability and adhesion are improved.
