MAPESIL TILE MATT

Mapesil Tile Matt by Mapei is a one-component, solvent-free, neutral-cure silicone sealant with a low elastic modulus and a matte finish. It is formulated to create joints that blend visually with grout and avoid the characteristic sheen of traditional silicones.

It is suitable for expansion joints and joints in ceramic floor and wall tiles, thin porcelain tiles, sanitary fixtures, ventilated facades, prefabricated panels, woodwork, and other interior or exterior elements. It can also be applied to glass, metal, wood, brick, painted surfaces, and compatible cementitious materials.

It accommodates movement of up to 25% in walls and 20% in flooring. It offers good resistance to weathering, aging, and mold, as well as a working time of approximately ten minutes. It is available in 11 matte colors coordinated with Mapei grout and in 300-ml cartridges.
