MAPESIL GP

Mapesil GP by Mapei is a one-component, neutral-cure silicone sealant that is elastic, mold-resistant, and suitable for joints with movement of up to 20%. Its thixotropic consistency makes it easy to apply to horizontal and vertical surfaces without sagging.

It is suitable for sealing construction and expansion joints in facades, doors, windows, roofs, bathrooms, kitchens, and damp environments. It can also be used on ceramic flooring subject to foot traffic or light vehicle traffic. It adheres to many common building materials without a primer.

It retains its elasticity between −40 °C and +120 °C and offers resistance to water, weathering, thermal changes, and industrial environments. It has a working time of approximately 35 minutes. It is available in 280-ml cartridges in the following colors: clear, white, off-white, gray, copper, and dark brown. For 10 × 10 mm joints, one cartridge is sufficient for approximately 2.8 linear meters.
